Manchester United returned to winning ways as they claimed an impressive victory away at Wolves. United ran out 4-1 winners at Molineux to climb up to sixth place in the league standings as the festive schedule approaches.
Bruno Fernandes scored twice for United in the win over Wolves, including one from the penalty spot, with Bryan Mbeumo and Mason Mount also on the score sheet for Ruben Amorim’s side.
United will now prepare for yet another Monday Night Football clash next week when they host Bournemouth at Old Trafford.
There are now just two United matches left to play before Christmas, where United and Co. will be hoping to climb the table even further in their efforts to qualify for the Champions League once again.
However, United are not the only club that are competing for a spot in the Champions League and Europe next season, with plenty still to play for with 23 fixtures remaining altogether.
Here, the Manchester Evening News takes a look at how United’s upcoming fixture list compares to their Premier League rivals.
