Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has said that he is aiming to get back to full fitness as soon as possible as his search for a new club continues.
The Frenchman is now able to return to playing football after serving an 18-month ban for testing positive for banned substance DHEA. The ban was reduced from four years on appeal.
Despite him now being able to return, Pogba is still a free agent after leaving Italian side Juventus back in November. He has been linked to several clubs, including a third spell at Old Trafford.
It was during his most recent training session in Miami where Pogba has shared an update from, after bumping into a United fan.
“I was here training, enjoying myself with the Zico shirt, thank you Zico again,” he said on a video posted on his Instagram story.
“So we’re here in Miami, training, try to get fit as soon as possible, you already know the story.
“I’m here and there’s some fans around, United fans and Barcelona fans, big up to all of them. This gentleman (the Barcelona fan) tried to challenge me.”
It was explained that Pogba was challenged to hit the crossbar, which he succeeded in doing. The fan therefore had to complete 50 push-ups for losing the bet, something which Pogba filmed and shared on his Instagram story.
The midfielder continues to be linked with a move to several clubs on a free transfer. While a return to United looks unlikely links have divided two former United teammates on the situation.
