Ruben Amorim will be looking to welcome back some of his players for the Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest on April 1 (8pm).

United’s season has been heavily affected by injury, especially in defence. However, the international break offered an opportunity for those players step up their efforts to full fitness.

The latest injury setback was Ayden Heaven, who was withdrawn during the 3-0 win at Leicester City in a stretcher. He was later spotted walking out of the stadium in a protective boot.

The Manchester Evening News understands that Heaven is out of his protective boot and has a chance of returning to training after the current international break.

As the Portuguese boss continues to deal with injuries, he will be able to count on Patrick Dorgu after a three-match ban. The 20-year-old was shown a straight red card against Ipswich Town last month.

Here, MEN Sport has taken a look at the latest injury news from in and around the treatment room at Carrington.
