Manchester United supporters are set for another trip to Bilbao following the Europa League semi-final second leg win against Athletic Club on Thursday.
United headed into the return leg at Old Trafford with a comfortable 3-0 lead after an unforgettable night in the Basque Country. Bruno Fernandes’ brace and Casemiro’s header have put United within touching distance of a spot in the final.
A 4-1 win at Old Trafford booked United’s place in the final as Ruben Amorim’s side ran out 7-1 winners on aggregate following a Mason Mount masterclass. The United No.7, who came on as a second-half substitute for Manuel Ugarte, turned and curled in an equaliser after Mikel Jauregizar’s opener for Bilbao.
Casemiro then headed in and Rasmus Hojlund stabbed in a third before Mount struck a fantastic effort from range to send United fans into raptures.
The goal meant United fans can now make their plans on how to get to the final and be in Bilbao for what could be another special night in the club’s history. With this in mind, MEN Sport has taken a look at how you can bag yourself the best bargain on the essentials.
