AS Roma are the latest club to show interest in handing Jadon Sancho a career lifeline.
United have been desperately looking for a buyer for the out-of-favour Englishman ever since Chelsea decided to back out of their agreement to sign him on a permanent basis.
Chelsea wanted to initially keep him at Stamford Bridge but changed their plans after he showed reluctance to lower his salary. Sancho’s wage demands have also forced a number of suitors to look elsewhere after initial enquiries this summer.
Sancho ready to join Juventus
However, Juventus have remained firm in their desire to sign the 25-year-old.
Recently, The Peoples Person relayed a report claiming Juve have reached an agreement in principle with Sancho over a permanent switch to Turin.
Still, the Old Lady are yet to finalise an agreement with United for his services, as they are prioritising selling their underperforming forwards.
Roma keen on Sancho
According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà, Roma have enquired about the conditions of a deal for Sancho.
Pedulla adds that the Giallorossi have “pressed further in the evening” with United’s intermediaries.
It is claimed that Sancho has so far “rejected everything” as he is waiting to join Juventus.
Most recently, the ex-Borussia Dortmund star allegedly turned down Beskitas’ approach. The Turkish giants are led by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who signed the left winger from Dortmund in a deal worth £73m in 2021.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are trying to strengthen their left flank by signing another controversial United forward.
It is understood that the Blues have intensified talks with the Red Devils for Alejandro Garnacho, who has reached a total agreement with the London outfit over a summer move.
