Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has some big calls to make ahead of Saturday’s clash with Brighton and Hove Albion.
Amorim has overseen back-to-back Premier League victories for the first time and he is aiming to make it three on the spin this weekend. He also has very few injury worries to contend with, with Lisandro Martinez the only guaranteed absentee.
Both Harry Maguire and Mason Mount have picked up knocks, making them a doubt for the weekend, although Amorim will hope both can feature.
After such a positive result against Liverpool, Amorim may be tempted to name an unchanged side, but this will be a very different test and so a few changes may help. Senne Lammens will almost certainly keep his place.
In the back three, Leny Yoro could come in despite Luke Shaw’s strong Anfield outing. Matthjis de Ligt is certain to start and Maguire should keep his place if fit.
Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro will definitely start together. Benjamin Sesko was surprisingly dropped in favour of the striker-less system at Anfield but Amorim’s decision proved to be a great call.
Given Mount’s injury issues, he should not be risked, meaning Sesko comes back in. Matheus Cunha and Mbeumo can play in the No.10 roles.
