Manchester United to appoint sporting analyst Eduardo Rosalino from Sporting Lisbon – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United are all set to add another new face to their coaching team, Eduardo Rosalino, from Sporting Lisbon.

The departure of Erik ten Hag in late October has set off a series of changes to the coaching team at United.

The summer saw the arrival of the likes of club legend Ruud van Nistelrooy, Rene Hake and goalkeeping coach, Jelle ten Rouwelaar.

Nonetheless, with the announcement of Ruben Amorim as the new head coach, he has decided to clean house and bring in his own men to bring United back from the precipice.

A multitude of different coaches have been introduced to Carrington this week with former Sporting staff — Emanuel Ferro, Adélio Cândido, Carlos Fernandes, Jorge Vital and Paulo Barreira have all joined United’s staff.

Clearly Amorim has decided to opt for people who he has complete trust in as he embarks on arguably the biggest challenge of his coaching career.

Portuguese paper O Jogo report that “Rosalino will also be part of Ruben Amorim’s coaching staff at Manchester United.”

He is a sporting analyst who has been at Sporting since the 2013/2014 season after arriving from the Sporting Algés Academy School.

He worked for one year in the B team before being promoted to the senior side and that is where he has stayed ever since.

Like Amorim, he is only 39-years-old and adds another fresh face to a youthful looking coaching staff at the club.

It is interesting that Amorim has decided to take an axe to the former structure that was only set up in the summer and there was much debate as to what would happen with the highly popular Ruud van Nistelrooy, before it was announced on Monday that he would be departing the club.

While his coaching staff lacks experience and especially a deep understanding of English football, it is also very understandable why Amorim would choose to work with people he has had massive success with his entire career and will have the utmost trust in, as he embarks on this massive chapter in his coaching career.
