Jadon Sancho’s future is dominating headlines with Manchester United trying to sort out his future before the summer window grinds to a halt.
Currently, Juventus and Chelsea seem best placed to complete a deal for the 24-year-old who has now been left out of both matchday squads by Erik ten Hag.
The Bianconeri are eyeing a loan deal while the Blues are proposing a swap deal involving Raheem Sterling heading the other way.
For now, INEOS are not interested in either formula and want either a permanent exit or a loan deal which will include the obligation to buy at the end of the temporary stint.
Sancho’s future
With two years left to run on Sancho’s current deal plus the option of another year, United might be forced into a straight loan keeping in mind the player’s humongous wages which would be difficult to cover for most clubs.
HITC Football have revealed that should INEOS agree to another loan, Borussia Dortmund, where the Englishman spent the second half of last season, would jump at the opportunity.
And surprisingly, fellow Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich, who are looking to offload Kingsley Coman, have also thrown their hat into the ring.
“Sancho’s representatives have been told by Manchester United that he would be allowed to leave the club this summer and various clubs are looking into the options, but his huge wages are an issue that makes a permanent deal tough to do.
“HITC understands that Borussia Dortmund are ready to offer Sancho a move back to the club – as long as Manchester United sanction a loan move.
Bayern also want Sancho
“But Dortmund are not alone, with Juventus continuing talks and they also only want a loan. Bayern Munich, who are looking to move on Kingsley Coman, are another club who have a possible interest in Sancho.”
The former Manchester City academy graduate was called out last season by Ten Hag for his poor training displays and the player reacted by accusing the manager of making him a scapegoat on social media.
With all his suitors seeking a cut-price deal for the England international, INEOS brought back Sancho who had positive talks with the manager before reintegration back into the first team.
He played in pre-season and even appeared as a second-half substitute against City in the Community Shield but he has not received a look-in since, which might indicate an exit is close.
Who gets him and on what formula is what is left to be ironed out as the window enters its final week.
