Confirmed United XI vs Man City: Sesko starts his first PL match, Lammens on the bench

Benjamin Sesko will start his first Premier League match for Manchester United against neighbours City today.

With Matheus Cunha, Mason Mount and Diogo Dalot all joining Lisandro Martinez on the injury list, Sesko comes in to the attack at centre forward.

Defence

Despite the arrival of Belgian Senne Lammens, Altay Bayindir continues in goal.

The back three probably comprises Matthijs de Ligt, Leny Yoro and Luke Shaw.

At wing back, Noussair Mazraoui will likely come in for the injured Diogo Dalot and Patrick Dorgu provides a strong attack-minded presence on the left.

Midfield and Attack

Bruno Fernandes and Manu Ugarte are the midfield pair. Up front, Sesko is flanked by Amad and Bryan Mbeumo.

Other formations are possible with the versatile personnel involved (Mazraoui, Fernandes, Amad, Shaw and Dorgu).

Substitutes

There are two keepers on the bench in Lammens and Tom Heaton. Harry Maguire, Tyler Fredricson and Ayden Heaven are the defensive options. Diego Leon is also named as a sub.

Casemiro, Kobbie Mainoo and Josh Zirkzee make up the rest of the bench.

Kick off at the Eithad is at 4.30pm.
