Paul Pogba has launched a luxury jewellery business with his wife Zulay as the couple look to move on with their lives following the midfielder’s doping scandal
Paul Pogba has ventured into the world of high-end fashion by launching a luxury jewellery line with his wife, as he aims to steer his life back on course after his doping scandal.
The former Manchester United star, who recently signed a two-year contract with AS Monaco, is looking to make a fresh start in his football career after being suspended due to a failed drug test. Pogba is determined to move past his recent challenges and has now launched ‘Unbreakable’, a luxury collection created in partnership with his wife, Zulay, and prestigious jewellery house Elke Berr.
In an interview with Var-Matin, Zulay opened up about the hardships they’ve faced and how she believes these struggles have strengthened their relationship. She said: “Paul’s problems were public. It affected us as a couple. It affected our children.
“We have been through very tough times, but we have stayed united. This is what we wanted to communicate through the collection: you are not alone in facing difficulties, what matters is getting back up.”
Previously celebrated as one of Europe’s most promising footballers, Pogba enjoyed a successful spell at Juventus before rejoining United, winning several major honours across his career. In 2023, his career hit a stumbling block when he was barred from playing after testing positive for DHEA during his second stint in Italy.
Following a series of failed drug tests, the Italian club and the player mutually decided to part ways after Pogba received a four-year ban from playing by the Italian Anti-Doping National Tribunal. This sanction was subsequently reduced to 18 months, allowing him to return to competitive action by March this year.

The strain of Pogba’s drug suspension wasn’t the only challenge that brought him and his partner closer, however, as the French international also had to deal with his brother, Mathias, being sent to prison.
In 2024, the former footballer was sentenced to three years in prison – with two of those years suspended – for attempting to extort the former United player. Mathias Pogba, along with five other individuals, faced accusations of trying to extort €13million (£10.7m) from Paul Pogba. He was convicted last year, despite maintaining his innocence throughout the trial.
Now, Pogba is looking to leave his turbulent past behind and concentrate on his future with his wife and children. The couple’s jewellery business represents a collaborative effort, as Zulay said: “Unbreakable isn’t just about Paul and me.
“It’s a shared story – that of a child with their mother or father, sisters, brothers, two best friends. These bonds help us not to be defeated by life’s roller coaster. For us, Unbreakable is more than just a jewellery collection. It’s a symbol.”
The collection boasts a variety of jewellery pieces, including necklaces, rings, and bracelets, all available for purchase on the Elke Berr Joaillerie website. The Monaco midfielder, alongside his partner, has plans to set up a showroom in Monaco this coming September, in partnership with Monte-Carlo Diamonds.
The Bolivian model added: “What we went through was seen by many because it was public. But getting back up isn’t just about returning to sport, it’s about returning to life.”
With Ligue 1 resuming in a week, Pogba is looking forward to maintaining a positive stride in his life. And while supporters might consider his inclusion in France’s 2026 World Cup team somewhat of a long shot, the 32-year-old is expected to make his return to the pitch soon.
