United’s pursuit of key target takes new dramatic twist as he slams his club for making “false” transfer statement

Manchester United target Viktor Gyokeres has issued a response to comments made by Sporting CP president, who accused the player and his agents of using threats, blackmail and insults to engineer a summer exit.

Gyokeres has been linked to United for some time now, amidst suggestions he could be obtained for a fee significantly lower than his 100m euros price tag.

However, Sporting CP president indicated that he will not go for a discounted sum.

Now, Gyokeres has come out to see that the remarks made by Varandas are “false”
